Toyota Motor Europe (TME) based in the Brussels head office, plays a key role in Toyota's success in Europe and we are continually looking for talented professionals to join our 1600 people of 52 nationalities.

Within Customer Service's Accessory Quality Department we will enable Toyota's European Vehicle Logistic Centers (HUB) to install accessory & conversion products at the highest quality and most efficient level. Your activities will generate improvements to accessory and conversion products, their installation, development and production by Toyota Motor Marketing Europe (TMME) local suppliers, enabling optimal installation costs, warranty cost reduction and complete customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• You set up processes, guide colleagues, confirm & approve realistic conversion and accessory installation times for HUB and dealer fitment. You analyze and kaizen the installation time calculation method
  
• You establish and maintain a tool to monitor installation time related data. You evaluate, analyze and eliminate installation time inconsistencies at various levels
  
• You negotiate, challenge and support TMME HUBS to ensure that time targets are met.You ensure countermeasures if need be
  
• You identify and kaizen target products as well as their installation processes and prepare jigs in order to reduce installation times. You challenge new product designs accordingly
  
• For Life Cycle Action (LCA) campaigns, you establish combined installation processes and related materials
  
• You train HUBS on new installation processes
  
• You evaluate and approve TMME HUB installation of non-genuine National Marketing & Sales Company (NMSC) products
  
• You join as HID representative all installation time related meetings

• Engineering degree or equivalent by experience
  
• Min. 7 years experience preferrably in the automotive industry
  
• Experience in product/process engineering or quality assurance systems
  
• Practical vehicle technical assembly knowledge and relevant knowledge of production systems and related techniques
  
• Analytical, self-starter, quality minded
  
• Team player and motivator
  
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills (at different levels: from operator to top management)
  
• Willing to travel
  
• Fluent in English. Other European languages are assets
