Export Specialist H/F

The Technical Centre is the location for Toyota Motor Europe's Research & Development (R&D), Purchasing and Production Engineering (PE) functions. From there Toyota ensures its cars match European customer's demands. R&D undertakes body, powertrain chassis and electronics design, the selection and testing of materials and components, engine evaluation, and the tuning of the driveability characteristics of all Toyota models. PE undertake plant building construction and equipment and tooling preparation for mass production. Purchasing oversees the procurement of more than 4 billion of parts and materials each year.

As a member of our multi-site Export Team, based in Brussels, you will provide superior quality service to our Export Parts customers worldwide.
This enhances the development of harmonious cost effective business relationships with all the export customers, the suppliers and the service providers.

Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for the supplier management of 40 export suppliers based in Europe
  
• You manage the export activities for the Toyota Cross Docks, achieving a 100% on-time supply
  
• You support the elimination of mislabeling and invoice errors
  
• You continuously search for Kaizen and best practice opportunities across your own and across the sectional responsible areas

• You have a business or engineering university degree,
  
• You have a minimum of 2 years experience in a parts ordering and parts management environment in a fast moving international company,
  
• You possess excellent coordination and communications skills,
  
• You have an analytical mind set and you enjoy working with numbers,
  
• You are always looking for improvement,
  
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken,
  
• You possess good computer skills and you are used of working with MS Office
