European Customs Specialist M/F

Toyota Motor Marketing Europe is looking for a European Customs Specialist M/F

The International Tax Division (ITD) of Toyota Motor Europe (TME) ensures customs compliance for TME and is responsible for Customs and Trade Management of European customs and trade related operations.

Responsibilities:

You establish complex international import/export and customs warehouse procedures

You review trade procedures and origin set up for EU and global business units

You avoid financial penalties and exposure for business blocking issues

You perform analysis of complex EU and worldwide/global legislations (WTO, WCO,RU,SA)

You take care of complex pan-European customs audits

You act as a point of contact for national local and central customs authorities

You act as a point of contact with peers from different Toyota entities (TMC, TSAM, TMT, TMR, NMSCs; R&D, Pricing, Supply Chain, IS, Marketing, Logistics)

You review non standard compliance tasks and file non standard customs reclaim files

Education: A1 Expedition , University degree Tax/Law, postgraduate

You have between 2- 4 years working experience in national customs procedures, preferably within an international company/law firm or you have experience within Big 4 tax consultancy

You possess knowledge of customs declaration systems

You have good knowledge of Access and MS Office

Proficiency level of English is required, any other European language is an asset
