ASPIRE is now looking for a motivated and dynamic professional to fill the following position SPORTS IT SENIOR OFFICER.

The Sports IT Senior Officer develops a data management structure and designs essential software for Performance Enhancement/Talent Identification. You integrate the Performance Enhancement/Talent Identification hardware into data management structure, coordinate IT needs of the Performance Enhancement/Talent Identification Section in collaboration with ASPIRE's Information Management System (AIMS) System Analyst and Developers, develop and modify IT software for the Performance Enhancement /Talent Identification Section, provide IT advice to Sport Scientists/Coaches, and give IT support for Sport Science/Talent Identification research. Other duties and responsibilities include, but not limited, to: update and maintain the latest sport science IT knowledge, submit periodic reports to the Head of Performance Enhancement/Talent Identification, assume all authorities outlined in the authorities schedules, and undertake any special studies and duties as requested by the Head of Performance Enhancement/Talent Identification.

Academic Qualifications : Bachelor / Master Degree in IT (or Electronic Engineering/ Bioengineering with advanced experience in software development), Bachelor in Sports Science / Physical Education would be a plus - Competencies and Skills : Programming languages ASP/ASP.NET, C#, VB/VB.NET, C/C++, knowledge of SQL, knowledge of DSP (Digital Signal Processing), Practitioner with ability to work directly with athletes/ coaches/ scientists, Personal sports experience desirable, Coaches license(s) desirable, Conceptual working ability, Fluent in English - Work Experience : Minimum of 4 years in sports related IT programming (high performance) - software development/modification - Personal Traits : Organized, analytical, innovative, responsible, reliable, disciplined, motivated, and a Team Player.
The position as Sports IT Senior Officer in Qatar will entitle the right person to a generous package, consisting of base salary, housing allowance, transport allowance, medical, etc.
