To continue supplying the highest quality of Combined Cycle Power Plants to our customers, we are seeking talented Engineers to join our new Steam Turbine Advanced Technology Organization belonging to the Engineering Department of GE Energy in Belfort (France).
*Responsible for identifying and leading major, complex projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business success.
*Identifies, develops, evaluates, and introduces engineering technology solutions to meet near term and long range engineering needs.
*Maintains an active role in developing and defining the state of the art in own technical specialty in order to anticipate, develop, apply or adapt technologies for product introduction, quality, performance, cost improvements and problem resolution.
*Effectively communicates and provides recommendations through the analysis, preparation and presentation of technical data to internal and external GE customers using presentations, reports, records and letters.
*Provides technical guidance, direction and training to new and experienced engineers, specialists and technicians.Occasional foreign travel for short durations is required.

*Master of Science in Engineering (Aerodynamics, Mechanical Design and Integrity, Thermodynamics)Required Experience & Skills
*At least 10 years of experience in Steam Turbine Engineering/ Development
*Fluent in English*Demonstrated leadership in defining the state of the art in at least one technical specialty, along with the ability to teach and set standard practices within this field
*Demonstrated ability to document, plan, market and manage programs that further the knowledge , understanding and capability of the business*Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
*Able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization as well as external customers
*Familiarity with manufacturing processesEligibility Requirements:
