SIG is Europe's leading supplier of specialist building products in its four key markets of insulation, roofing, commercial interiors and specialist construction and safety products. A new vacancy for a graduate Commercial Trainee has arisen for an immediate start, based in Angers but working for our UK based Environmental Products Director.

Commercial Assistant Environmental Products - H/F

The role will involve undertaking project work and liaison between the Environmental Products Team and other operating businesses within the Group, particularly within France, contributing to the definition and implementation of Environmental Products business strategy and facilitating growth of the network. This is a developing business in its formative stage, and the postholder will be working within a small team, with equivalent posts to this in the UK and Germany.

You will carry out external research to enhance the knowledge base concerning environmental issues and products within France, organise new routes to market and represent the Environmental Products business with suppliers and customers on issues such as marketing and availability of products.

To apply for the role, you will need to be a recent graduate with fluent language skills in English and French as an essential requirement, ideally with previous knowledge and experience of environmental sustainability. Alternatively you may have a relevant business background, and be able to demonstrate a keen interest and enthusiasm for this area of work. You will also need to be able to demonstrate excellent research, organisational, IT and project management skills. // Nous recherchons un jeune diplômé parlant couramment l'anglais et le franais avec idéalement des connaissance dans le domaine du développement durable ou ayant une formation de niveau école de commerce ou équivalent et un intérêt fort pour ces questions. Ce poste requiert également de bonnes capacités d'analyse et de gestion de projet ainsi qu'une bonne maîtrise des outils informatiques.

The role will be based in the Head Office of our French roofing material distribution company, Lariviere which is located in Angers.
