The key objective of this role is to ensure rapid development for the Structured Credit Derivatives desk for our client.

The role holder will provide daily support of the trading desk regarding its IT needs, and be responsible for the daily production of reports for the desk.

Responsibilities:
Rapid Development of IT tools for our client's structured credit derivatives desk.
Address any need of the trading desk which involves rapid intervention with strong IT capabilities.
Work closely with IT Infrastructure teams, development teams in Paris, as well as research and support teams in Paris, to provide daily support.
Participate in short, middle, and long term development with the client's Paris Information Technology development teams.
Collect and synthesize trading desk needs for the client's Paris development teams and participate in meetings to insure needs are understood and correctly prioritized.
Participate in daily production of risk reports for the trading desk and ensure correct maintenance of the reporting infrastructure.


Experience required:
M/W, The role holder needs to have previous experience in programming and must be a prime programmer in C#.
Fluent written and spoken English and French
The role requires very strong analytical and communication skills since communication with the users is an integral part of the work.
The role holder has to be a team player and be able to work with very tight deadlines and high pressure, with a focus of being very detail-driven.
As the team supports a desk in exotic products, the candidate must be a quick learner to understand new needs of the desk.

Qualifications:
Engineering / Scientific B.Sc. degree or equivalent
Qualification or significant professional experience in programming is required.
