EJAI161439 - SERVER CONSOLIDATION ARCHITECT (H/F)

Working within Dell's Practice Server Consolidation or Virtualisation, the Infrastructure Solution Architect spends 30% of their time on direct costumer facing, presales high level design activity and 70% on post sales delivery activities for IT architecture design, planning and implementation. The Solution Architect could also act as technical Project Manager on large or complex solutions.
The role will involve supporting the Sales Account Teams in the assessment, design, planning and implementation of both distributed and centralised IT infrastructures across Dell's client portfolio. Their design will be based on Dell products, non Dell products (hardware and middleware to complement Dell servers and storage), IT processes and limited applications.
The Solution Architect is also responsible of the IT architecture planning, namely resources definition and capacity planning of Dell and non Dell teams as well as project timeframes and technical commitments related to the IT architecture design.


We are looking for an experienced and highly qualified professional, very customer oriented in complex and demanding technical projects. The candidate will be specialist on consolidation, virtualisation and migration of servers in different environments and operating systems. At least 8 years of experience acquired in international IT consulting companies involved in large projects are required.
VMWare certification is a must. The job will be carried out in Spanish, therefore proficiency in Spanish is a must, fluent English is also required.
