DIRECTOR OPERATIONS (H/F)

The Operation Director will organize, supervise and directly manage Operations activities in a manner that supports good customer service while maintaining total inventory levels within prescribed plans and company guidelines. They will liaise with the other team members based in Asia and the USA to make sure that the final functional and Brand objectives are reached.

-Responsibilities include 2 brands for Europe and the Middle East.

-Create and maintain an annual inventory plan, forecasting from each market, managing markets and distributors. Interfacing with all European Country Managers, sales agents and distributors.

-Supervise and control purchase orders for submission to the sourcing organisation in Asia and USA.

-Decide in collaboration with team the month's shipment plan and update the annual forecasts.

-Communicate with sales management, customer service and distribution staff to resolve inventory issues and maintain high service levels.

-Create and publish product availability lists.

-Analyse mix of inventory, identify potential distressed products, recommend price action to sell excess inventory.

-Review business processes for customer services

-Forecast incoming and outgoing flows and allows an efficient and timely planning

-Ensure the timeliness of deliveries of orders to customers.

-Work with team fully focused to achieve the Company's goals, maximise effectiveness, and provide analysis and information.

PROFILE:

-Relevant experience of at least 7 years, ideally in sportswear industry

-Fluent in English, Italian is a plus

-Organised, proactive with analytical skills

-Leadership, good communicator.
